2025 County-Commune Harvest Festival Starosts: Let's Meet Them!

During the County-Commune Harvest Festival, which will be held on September 6th in Świedziebnia, Kornelia Wojtal-Zielińska and Karol Zieliński will have the honor of serving as starosts. This couple has been passionately running the family orchard farm "Sad u Krysi" in Świedziebnia for four years.

"Sad u Krysi" - Tradition and Modernity

The 4-hectare farm was taken over from Mr. Karol's parents, continuing the orchard traditions. However, out of concern for health and unique taste, they grow fruit in harmony with nature, giving up chemicals. "Sad u Krysi" specializes in the production of natural and healthy food. They achieved this by changing the management system and using natural cultivation methods and environmentally friendly biological preparations.

The Richness of Fruits

In the harvest festival starosts' orchard, we can find various varieties of apple trees (piros, delicates, lobo, kortland, champion, rubin, jonagold), as well as cherries, pears (klapsa, konferencja, xenia, lukasówka), and plums. Each fruit ripens naturally to delight with its taste and aroma.

Combining Passion and Responsibilities

The Zieliński couple successfully combines daily professional duties with running the orchard, finding time and heart to dedicatedly care for their farm. Their work is proof that tradition and modernity can go hand in hand, and passion can be combined with concern for health and nature.
