Learning Through Practice: Road Safety in Brodnica

Students from grades 1-3 of the Special School Preparing for Work in the Special School Complex in Brodnica participated in an educational and integration outing. The aim of the initiative was to consolidate knowledge about road safety and social integration.

Road Safety Lesson in Practice

During the classes, students learned how to safely move on the sidewalk, cross the road, observe traffic lights, and react in various traffic situations. Practical exercises allowed them to apply their knowledge in real-world conditions.

Visit to the Heather Fair

Another point on the program was a visit to the Heather Fair organized by the Occupational Therapy Workshops. The students admired the flower arrangements and learned about the work of people participating in therapy. It was a valuable integration and educational experience.

Integration and Relaxation

After the intensive classes, the students went to an ice cream parlor for a well-deserved rest, where they could talk and integrate in a less formal atmosphere.

Agnieszka Mianecka, the organizer of the event, made sure that the students returned to school with new knowledge and positive memories.
