Brodnica Municipality strengthens the civil protection system!

On Thursday, September 4, 2025, the Mayor of Brodnica Municipality, Adam Zalewski, together with the municipal treasurer, Witold Jastrzębski, signed an agreement with the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivode, Michał Sztybel. The agreement concerns the financing of the municipality's own tasks in the field of civil protection and defense from state budget funds in 2025.

Funding Details

Brodnica Municipality will receive PLN 113,000 from a grant from the Civil Protection and Defense Program for local government units in 2025. These funds will be used to replenish the resources and infrastructure necessary to implement tasks in the field of civil protection and defense.

What will the funds be used for?

The purchase of the following equipment is planned:

• Collapsible water tank with a capacity of 11,000 liters
• Pneumatic rescue tent with equipment
• 4 oil heaters
• Air dehumidifier
• Hydraulic spreader
• Pneumatic rescue set (cushions)

Strengthening Resident Safety

Equipping the municipality with modern rescue equipment is intended to strengthen the civil protection system and increase readiness for crisis situations. These investments should contribute to increasing the level of safety for the residents of Brodnica Municipality.
