September dedicated to road safety!

After the summer break, with students returning to school, the Police are launching the "Safe Route to School" campaign. From September 1st to 30th, 2025, increased police presence can be expected around educational institutions.

Campaign objective

The aim of the campaign is to increase the safety of the youngest road users. Police officers will pay attention to the behavior of both drivers and pedestrians, reminding them of the need to exercise caution, reduce speed near pedestrian crossings, and properly transport children.

Preventive and educational activities

As part of the campaign, police officers will also hold meetings with students and teachers, during which they will discuss the rules of safe road use and emphasize the importance of wearing reflective elements. A road infrastructure inspection was also carried out in the vicinity of schools to identify and eliminate potential hazards.

Appeal to parents and teachers

The police appeal to parents and guardians to set a good example for their children and talk about safety rules. Teachers are encouraged to take educational initiatives related to road traffic. Remember, the safety of children depends on all of us!
