Join the "Snowy Decalogue" Competition and Ensure Safety on the Slopes!

We invite you to participate in the artistic and film competition "Snowy Decalogue", which is part of the nationwide campaign “I’m Excited About Safety on the Slopes”. The goal of this event, which started on December 13, 2024, is to promote responsible behaviors among people on ski slopes and to raise awareness about safety.

About the Competition

Participants aged 5 to 16 can submit artistic works or video recordings (up to 60 seconds) that illustrate the Decalogue of Rules from the International Ski Federation (FIS). The deadline for submissions is March 7, 2025.

FIS Rules

• Respect for Others: Do not create danger for others.
• Control of Speed: Ski at an appropriate speed.
• Choosing a Path: Determine a path that does not endanger others.
• Overtaking: Overtake safely.
• Starting from a Standstill: Check surroundings before joining the movement.
• Stopping on the Trail: Avoid stopping in dangerous places.
• Ascending and Descending: Use the edge of the trail.
• Adhering to Ski Signs: Follow the signs on the trails.
• Behavior in Case of an Accident: Provide assistance to the injured.
• Obligation to Disclose Identity: Provide personal data in case of an accident.

Safety on the Slopes

During the ski season, remember to prepare properly and warm up, and children under 16 should always wear helmets. Parents or guardians are responsible for ensuring their child wears a helmet.
