Police Operation "Safe Cyclist"

Police officers from Brodnica are conducting the "Safe Cyclist" operation to increase the safety of vulnerable road users, especially cyclists. The operation is being carried out throughout the district.

Bike and Cyclist Checks

Officers are checking whether bicycles have mandatory equipment, such as working lights (front white or yellow, rear red), brakes and a horn. In addition, the sobriety of cyclists and compliance with traffic regulations are checked.

Attention to Electric Bicycles

Special attention is paid to electric bicycles to determine whether they meet the definition of a bicycle or are mopeds with electric drive.
