Annual Summary of Police Work in Brodnica

On January 31, 2025, the District Police Commander in Brodnica, Inspector Tomasz Skoneczka, held an annual briefing summarizing the police activities for 2024. The meeting was attended by the Deputy Provincial Police Commander in Bydgoszcz, Inspector Jacek Witas, representatives of local authorities, the Brodnica prosecutor's office, as well as police officers and staff from the unit.

On January 30, at the District Police Headquarters in Brodnica, Inspector Skoneczka presented a detailed report on interventions, the number of drunk drivers arrested, and apprehended criminals. Issues concerning the improvement of public safety were also discussed.

During his speech, the Commander thanked all local authority representatives and institutions for their support and cooperation, emphasizing the importance of this collaboration in daily service for regional safety.

Inspector Jacek Witas expressed his appreciation for the work of Brodnica police officers, pointing out key action areas for 2025 aimed at enhancing road safety.

During the briefing, the Mayor of Brodnica, Jarosław Radacz, handed over the keys to an unmarked vehicle of the Renault brand, co-financed by the City Office. Additionally, the police station received a new marked police car - a Renault Trafic.

In conclusion, invited guests, including the Starost of Brodnica County, Paweł Szramka, thanked for the ongoing cooperation aimed at improving safety in the county.
