Meeting with entrepreneurs in Brodnica on development opportunities

On June 2, 2025, a meeting was held in Brodnica focusing on the economy and supporting investments. On Friday, May 30, Hotel Stork hosted over 50 people, including entrepreneurs, company representatives, officials, representatives of employment and non-governmental organizations, local government officials, and county councilors.

Opening and Welcome

The Brodnica Starost, Paweł Szramka, opened the event, emphasizing openness to the problems of entrepreneurs and appreciating their contribution to the economic development of the region.

Presentations and topics

During the meeting, speakers from the Pomeranian Special Economic Zone (PSSE), MSP Invest, Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń (UMK), and Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego (BGK) presented opportunities to support investments, income tax exemptions, aspects of corporate social responsibility, and the potential for cooperation between science and business.

Exchange of experiences and dialogue

The meeting created a platform for exchanging experiences and discussing the challenges facing local entrepreneurs. The need to continue economic dialogue for the sustainable development of the region was emphasized.

Attendance of county representatives

The meeting was also attended by representatives of the county, including Deputy Starost Arkadiusz Orłowski, Chairman of the Council Marek Hildebrandt, and councilors Wojciech Szulc, Piotr Burkwicz, Roman Pytlasiński and Przemysław Górski, some of whom have experience in running a business.
