On January 22, 2025, a summary meeting of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Police's work in 2024 took place at the Provincial Police Headquarters in Bydgoszcz. The meeting was attended by Provincial Police Commander Inspector Jakub Gorczyński and his deputies: Inspector Marcin Woźniak, Inspector Jacek Witas, and Inspector Małgorzata Jorka. Among the invited guests were the Kujawsko-Pomorski Voivode Michał Sztybel and regional prosecutors.

Course of the Meeting

During the meeting, achievements in logistics, prevention, and criminal work were discussed. Commander Gorczyński opened the meeting by welcoming guests and presenting the results of public opinion surveys regarding police work, employment status, and security in the region. He also highlighted the achievements of Kujawsko-Pomorskie policemen in national competitions and international projects.

Distinctions and Thanks

At the end of the meeting, the Commander handed over keys to unmarked cars to two outstanding commanders. Sub-Inspector Mariusz Gaik from Bydgoszcz and Inspector Tomasz Skoneczka from Brodnica were honored for their results in criminal and prevention work.

Road Safety and Future Challenges

Voivode Michał Sztybel expressed gratitude for the hard work of the police, emphasizing the importance of road safety, particularly on national road 10, which has one of the highest accident rates in Poland. He pointed to planned investments aimed at improving these statistics.

Summary of 2024

In the following part of the meeting, inspectors presented detailed reports on logistics, prevention, and criminal work. Interventions, reports on the National Map of Threats, and proceedings in criminal cases were discussed. Finally, Commander Gorczyński thanked everyone for their cooperation and expressed hope for further successes in the upcoming year.
