Young Driver Caused a Serious Traffic Incident

A few days earlier, he had passed his driving test. He caused a collision and received a fine. Fortunately, no one was injured.

On March 26 at 9:12 AM on national road number 15 in the village of Tama Brodzka, a traffic incident occurred involving two passenger vehicles and a truck. An 18-year-old driving a BMW lost control of the vehicle while overtaking, failing to adjust his speed to the road conditions, resulting in a collision with a truck. The impact was so strong that the engine was torn from the BMW, and elements of the bodywork damaged an approaching passenger vehicle. None of the participants were injured, and thus the incident was classified by the authorities as a collision.

The 18-year-old resident of the Nowomiejski district, who caused the collision, had passed his driving test just two days earlier.

For causing the collision, the police imposed a fine of 2,000 PLN and 10 penalty points on the 18-year-old.
