Over 2 million PLN from the European Union for education in the Brodnica Commune

Last Wednesday, March 19, 2025, a ceremonial handing over of contracts for the financing of educational projects for schools and kindergartens run by the Brodnica Commune took place at the Marshal's Office in Toruń.

The contracts were received from the hands of the Marshal of the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship by: Deputy Mayor – Justyna Klimowska and the Commune Treasurer – Witold Jastrzębski. Thanks to the funds obtained from the European Union, we will implement two key projects:

• "Improvement of the quality of preschool education in the Brodnica Commune" - a project implemented under the regional program European Funds for Kuyavia and Pomerania 2021-2027 Priority 8 European funds for support in the labor market, education, and social inclusion, Action FEKP.08.26 Support for early education and child care (excluding infrastructure),
• "Improvement and development of competencies in schools of the Brodnica Commune" – a project submitted under the regional program European Funds for Pomerania and Kuyavia 2021-2027, 8 European funds for support in the labor market, education, and social inclusion, Action FEKP.08.27 General education OPPT.

The total value of the obtained funding is 2,044,378.10 PLN. This is a huge opportunity for our students and preschoolers. Thanks to such projects, we invest in the future of our children and raise the quality of education in the commune.
