Thirteenth Pensions in April

In April, KRUS will pay an additional annual cash benefit for pensioners and disability pensioners, known as the thirteenth pension. This benefit will be paid together with the pension, disability pension, or parental supplementary benefit on payment dates, namely around April 10, 15, 20, and 25.

Who Will Receive the Thirteenth Pension?

The thirteenth pension will be granted to those who on March 31, 2025, are entitled to at least one of the following benefits: agricultural pension, agricultural disability pension, family pension, or parental supplementary benefit.

How to Receive the Thirteenth Pension?

There is no need to submit an application. The benefit will be paid automatically.

Amount of the Thirteenth Pension

The thirteenth pension is the same for all pensioners and disability pensioners, amounting to the minimum pension, which from March 1, 2025, will be 1,878.91 PLN gross. Health insurance contributions and income tax advances will be deducted from it.

Information for Those Entitled to Multiple Benefits

Individuals entitled to multiple benefits will receive only one thirteenth pension. For pensioners receiving agricultural pensions from KRUS and employee pensions from ZUS, the thirteenth pension will be paid by ZUS. In cases of simultaneous agricultural pensions or disability pensions from KRUS and benefits granted by ZUS, KRUS will pay the thirteenth pension.

Decisions on Granting the Thirteenth Pension

Every eligible pensioner will receive a decision on the granting of the thirteenth pension along with a valuation decision effective from March 1, 2025.
