A unique place for retired service animals
The "Zakątek Weteranów" (Veterans' Nook) Association is the only organization in Europe that provides a peaceful retirement for dogs and horses retired from uniformed services. These animals, which spent years ensuring our safety in the Police, Military, or Fire Department, often cannot be cared for by their former handlers after retirement.
Challenges and the new investment
Currently, the organization operates thanks to the generosity of Ms. Krystyna Nowakowska in Gierłatowo near Września. However, the association owns its own land that requires major modernization. Building a new headquarters, including extensive renovations of farm buildings, constructing kennels, and fencing pastures, will cost approximately 2 million PLN.
Your support matters
The association relies mainly on the support of donors. Funds are being raised to provide the animals with a safe sanctuary, high-quality food, and professional veterinary care. Every donation brings us closer to creating a safe home for those who dedicated their lives and health to serving society.
Support the fundraiser for the new headquarters of "Zakątek Weteranów" and give them the retirement they deserve!
