Watch out for pickpockets during the pre-holiday season
The period leading up to November 1st is a time of intense preparations – cleaning graves and shopping. Unfortunately, the crowds at cemeteries, in stores, and on public transport create an ideal environment for criminals.
Safety on transport and at gravesites
When traveling by public transport, remember to keep your bag in front of you and store documents and your phone in internal pockets. At the cemetery, never leave your purse or wallet unattended, not even for a moment while you go to dispose of waste.
Support for loved ones
Do not forget about the elderly, who may feel lost in the crowd, and children. Keep little ones close to you and establish what they should do if they become separated from their guardian.
Safe shopping
During in-store shopping, protect your card PIN, and while online, remain vigilant against suspicious messages regarding underpayments. Your attentiveness is the best protection against scammers.
