Road safety through functional lighting
The 11th edition of the national campaign 'Your Lights – Our Safety' has been launched in Warsaw. The initiative is organized by the Traffic Bureau of the National Police Headquarters and the Motor Transport Institute.
Why should you check your lights?
Autumn weather and early sunsets make proper vehicle lighting crucial for safety. Correctly adjusted headlights allow drivers to spot pedestrians and obstacles on the road much earlier.
Free vehicle checks
The campaign includes 'open days' where drivers can have their car lights inspected for free at 1,567 vehicle inspection stations across the country. The dates are:
- October 24, 2026
- November 7, 2026
- November 21, 2026
- December 5, 2026
The Yanosik app will help drivers locate the nearest participating station, and a full list of locations is available on the policja.pl website.
