Completion of a major educational facility project
The thermal modernization project of Kindergarten No. 8, located on Zielona Street in Brodnica, has been successfully completed. The project was carried out by the local firm Przedsiębiorstwo Budowlane KOM-BUD sp. z o.o., with the contract signed on February 19, 2026.
Scope of work
The modernization has significantly improved the building standards:
- Eco-friendly solutions: photovoltaic system, LED lighting, and energy-recovery ventilation (recuperation).
- Thermal efficiency: ceiling insulation, replacement of windows and doors, and installation of new low-temperature radiators.
- Structural improvements: roof renovation, refurbishment of stairs and the terrace, and demolition of the defunct boiler room.
Financials and benefits
The total cost of the investment was 2,697,653.58 PLN. Supported by 1,578,044.96 PLN from the National Recovery Plan, the facility is now more energy-efficient, ensuring lower operational costs and better conditions for the children.
