About Alfons Malicki
Alfons Malicki was a remarkable figure. After participating in the defense of Hel in 1939, he spent five years in German prisoner-of-war camps. He documented his dramatic experiences in valuable chronicles, which will be presented during the upcoming exhibition. After the war, he settled in Brodnica, where he taught at the 1st High School until 1975, while remaining deeply committed to the local community.
