Summer safety checks: protecting scouts in Brodnica district

Joint security patrols

Officers from the Brodnica District Police, supported by the State Fire Service and the Sanitary-Epidemiological Station, are conducting periodic visits to summer camps for children and teenagers, including facilities in Ciche and Rytebłota.

Education and prevention

As part of the "Safe Holidays" initiative, campers are learning about:

• Safety rules for water activities, forest exploration, and road behavior.
• Emergency procedures and proper use of the 112 number.
• Evacuation protocols and how to react to severe weather.
• Hygiene, nutrition, and tick protection.

These visits will continue throughout the summer season across the Brodnica district to ensure that all young campers stay safe and well-informed.
