August 1st: Sirens will wail across the country

Remembering the Warsaw Uprising

On August 1st, 2026, Poland will once again pay tribute to the heroes of the Warsaw Uprising. To mark the 82nd anniversary of this historical event, air raid sirens will be activated nationwide at exactly 5:00 PM.

Please note that this signal is strictly for training and commemorative purposes. A continuous siren sound lasting one minute will be heard. Authorities reassure that there is no real danger, and residents are asked to remain calm and not to take any emergency response actions.
