National Exercise 'ALARM 2026' – What You Need to Know

Upcoming Warning System Tests

The Ministry of Interior and Administration has ordered a nationwide exercise codenamed 'ALARM 2026'. The event is scheduled for July 21, 2026, with activities running from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

Main Objectives

The purpose of the operation is to verify national security readiness. The following will be tested:

• Communication channels between services and public administration.
• Public warning procedures.
• Reaction times of system participants.
• Technical functionality of alarm sirens.

Important Message for Residents

During the exercise, alarm sirens may be activated. These signals are for training purposes only and do not require any protective action. Please remain calm – there is no real threat.

The exercise involves key institutions, including government and local administration, the Polish Armed Forces, the State Fire Service, and the Government Security Centre.
