Between June 24 and July 3, 2026, police officers in Brodnica conducted a special enforcement operation targeting irresponsible e-scooter users. The initiative was launched in response to numerous resident complaints regarding high-speed riding on sidewalks and in residential areas.

Statistics and offenses

During the operation, officers checked 113 e-scooter riders, uncovering 85 traffic offenses. The most frequent violation, recorded 24 times, was traveling at speeds faster than a pedestrian. The operation resulted in 10 fines and 11 formal requests for punishment submitted to the court.
