Ceremonial Police Day Celebrations in Brodnica

Ceremonies at the Anna Wazówna Palace

On Friday, July 3, 2026, dignified Police Day celebrations were held at the Anna Wazówna Palace. The event served as an occasion to honor the officers and civilian staff of the Brodnica County Police Headquarters.

Promotions and Distinctions

During the ceremony, 28 police officers received letters of appointment to higher service ranks. The promotions were presented by Deputy Provincial Police Commander in Bydgoszcz, Inspector Jacek Witas, and Brodnica County Commander, Inspector Tomasz Skoneczka. Additionally, Marian Chwiałkowski was honored with a commemorative badge for his cooperation with the police.

100 Years of Community Policing

The celebrations coincided with a special milestone – the 100th anniversary of the community police officer (dzielnicowy). The event highlighted their crucial role in building public trust and providing daily support to the local community.
