Ksawery Pliszka, a talented student of Mechatronics Technical School from the Center for Vocational and Continuing Education (CKZiU) in Brodnica, has achieved significant success by qualifying for the final stage of the XXII National Papal Competition. This prestigious event, organized by the Tertio Millennio Institute, attracts young people from all over Poland, and Ksawery has joined the ranks of just fifteen finalists.

Ksawery Pliszka's Exceptional Achievement

Ksawery's distinction is even more remarkable given that he is the only finalist from the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship. His success is the result of navigating two demanding stages of the competition: a knowledge test and the preparation of a detailed essay.

Purpose and Idea of the Competition

The National Papal Competition is one of Poland's largest educational undertakings dedicated to the figure of John Paul II. Its main goal is to popularize the teachings of St. John Paul II, develop humanistic and social interests among youth, and encourage deep reflection on values that are crucial in the contemporary world.

"Words Make a Difference" – This Year's Motto

This year's competition motto – "Words Make a Difference" – focuses on the extremely important topic of responsibility for words, the meaning of dialogue, communication ethics, and the fundamental role of words in proclaiming truth. Participants had the opportunity to explore these issues and present their reflections.

Ahead of the Final in Warsaw

The competition final will take place on June 13th in Warsaw, where Ksawery will be tasked with verbally defending his work before the competition committee. Ms. Marzena Janiszewska, a teacher from CKZiU in Brodnica, emphasizes the high level of difficulty and significance of this last stage.

Congratulations and Best Wishes for Success

The entire community of CKZiU in Brodnica and the editorial team congratulate Ksawery Pliszka on this extraordinary achievement and wish him good luck in the final. We keep our fingers crossed for continued success!
