Nowa Street in Brodnica with a New Pavement – Investment Completed!
Residents of Brodnica can now enjoy a new section of pavement on Nowa Street. Another stage of the comprehensive reconstruction of this important thoroughfare has been completed, significantly improving pedestrian comfort and safety in the area.
Investment Details
The new pedestrian path section is 86.17 meters long and was constructed on a part of Nowa Street, specifically between the intersection with Grażyny Street and the intersection with Cypriana Kamila Norwida Street.
The contractor responsible for the task was ALBUD Sp. z o.o., with its registered office at ul. Sienkiewicza 25. The total cost of this part of the investment amounted to PLN 96,264.49 gross and was entirely covered by the municipal budget, which underscores the local authorities' commitment to urban infrastructure development.
Technical Parameters of the Pavement
The newly constructed pavement was made of aesthetic grey concrete paving blocks. The standard width is 2.15 meters, with local narrowings to 1.90 meters, allowing for smooth adaptation to the existing environment. The pavement was solidly framed by an existing concrete curb (the curb at the intersection with Grażyny Street was replaced) and a concrete edge measuring 8 × 30 cm, set on a durable C12/15 concrete base. All these elements guarantee the durability and functionality of the new pedestrian path for many years.
