Valuation of Pensions and Agricultural Pensions

From March 1, 2025, KRUS introduces higher pensions and pensions for farmers. The amount of benefits will increase by 5.5%, meaning all pension and retirement benefits paid as of February 28, 2025, will be automatically adjusted without the need for application.

What benefits will be increased?

• Agricultural pensions
• Pensions due to disability and family pensions
• Supplements and other benefits paid together with pensions
• Parental supplementary benefit (Mama 4+)
• Cash benefits for the role of village head

How will the new amount of benefits be calculated?

The new amount of pension or retirement will be obtained by multiplying the basic pension by individual benefit valuation indices. From March 1, 2025, the basic pension will increase to 1,691.02 PLN.

For example, the agricultural pension for someone who has paid contributions for 25 years will amount to 1,995.40 PLN gross, which is an increase of 104.03 PLN gross compared to the previous pension.

Minimum pensions

The minimum employment pension will increase to 1,878.91 PLN gross. Agricultural pensions and rents cannot be lower than this amount, except in specific cases.

Increase in other benefits and supplements

• Parental supplementary benefit: 1,878.91 PLN
• Cash benefit for the role of village head: 354.86 PLN
• Care allowance: 348.22 PLN
• Other allowances and benefits will also increase proportionally.

Information for pensioners

Each pensioner will receive a decision informing them about the increased benefit amount in April 2025. More information can be found on the website www.gov.pl/web/krus/waloryzacja-emerytur-i-rent-rolniczych as well as in local KRUS units.
