Festive Crafts and Art Therapy at Brodnica Starostwo: Two Fairs, Lots of Heart!

A truly festive atmosphere has settled in the hall of the Brodnica starostwo (district office) thanks to unique craft fairs, heralding the approaching Easter.

Environmental Self-Help Home Fair (March 24)

On Tuesday, March 24, 2026, a fair featuring works prepared by participants of the Environmental Self-Help Home (ŚDS) at the Brodnica Caritas Center took place. The event, similar to last year, attracted significant interest from both clients and employees of the office. Visitors had the opportunity not only to admire the unique creations but also to purchase them, thereby supporting the creators.

These works are the result of art therapy conducted in various workshops at ŚDS, such as stained glass, artistic-plastic, and gardening. Each item is unique, created with immense heart and passion under the watchful eye of therapists. Their authenticity and dedication ensure they perfectly fit the festive atmosphere and can become a special decoration for homes of residents in Brodnica and the entire district.

Among the guests at the fair were Starosta Arkadiusz Orłowski, Vice-Starosta Piotr Burkwicz, and Anna Szczepaniak, head of the Department of Promotion and Development, Tourism and Social Affairs of the Brodnica District Starostwo.

Upcoming Occupational Therapy Workshops Fair (March 30)

We invite you now to another fair! This time, participants from the Occupational Therapy Workshops will present their works. The event will take place on Monday, March 30, 2026, in the hall of the Brodnica starostwo, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. This is another excellent opportunity to admire the talent of local creators and acquire original, handmade decorations.

Works by ŚDS participants are also available daily at the center's headquarters.
