Brodnica, March 18, 2026 – Residents of Brodnica, especially the youngest ones, can expect significant changes! Today, the Deputy Mayor of Brodnica, Krzysztof Hekert, signed a crucial contract with the local company REJBUD s.c. from Brodnica, which will be responsible for the comprehensive modernization of the playground at Jagiełły Street.

Investment Details Valued at Over 430 Thousand Zloty

The project, valued at PLN 430,500.00 gross, is fully financed from the municipal budget. The project aims to thoroughly transform the current area, ensuring safety and comfort of use. The scope of work is extensive and includes:

  • Installation of entirely new, certified play equipment, which will be placed on a special surface of washed sand, 30 cm thick, ensuring a high level of user safety.
  • Installation of four modern LED lighting poles, 8 to 8.5 meters high, which will significantly improve visibility and safety after dark.
  • Comprehensive renovation of green areas, construction of a new fence, and optimization of the existing outdoor gym layout and bicycle stands.
  • Dismantling of all existing, worn-out, and non-compliant elements of the playground infrastructure.

Implementation Schedule

According to the signed contract, the contractor has 110 days to complete all works from the date of its conclusion. This means that the completion of the entire modernization investment is planned for July 6, 2026. Soon, residents of Brodnica will be able to enjoy a new, safe, and attractive place for recreation and play!
