The Director of the District Road Authority (ZDP) in Brodnica has announced a recruitment drive for a key position in the Technical Department, focusing on investment affairs. Scope of Responsibilities – What will you do?

The person hired for this position will be responsible for a wide range of activities related to investments and maintenance of district roads, including:

• Commissioning and supervising maintenance works on the road network.
• Searching for contractors for road works, as well as preparing and implementing contract projects.
• Commissioning design documentation for the expansion, reconstruction, or renovation of roads.
• Preparing investor cost estimates, including commissioning them to external contractors.
• Preparing and submitting construction logbooks and measurement books to contractors.
• Active participation in commissions verifying the quality and progress of works.
• Supervising the implementation of investment and renovation tasks.
• Preparing acceptance documentation and organizing work acceptance.
• Notifying construction supervision of the start and end of works.
• Cooperation with municipalities in the implementation of joint investment tasks.
• Organizing warranty inspections of completed road works.
• Developing applications for building permits and reporting works.
• Participating in the preparation of the road network development plan and reports on its condition.
• Cooperation with the financial department in the ongoing analysis of investment costs.

Requirements – Who are we looking for?

The ideal candidate should possess:

• Higher or secondary technical education in construction (min. 3 years of work experience for secondary education).
• Excellent knowledge of legal regulations, including acts on public roads, construction law, the act on spatial planning and development, and the Administrative Procedure Code.
• Personal characteristics such as: communication skills, commitment, creativity, conscientiousness, responsibility, independence in logical thinking and decision-making, as well as impeccable ethical conduct.

Employment Conditions and Recruitment Process

Employment is planned to begin in April 2026. The work will be both office-based and field-based, ensuring diversity and dynamism. The District Road Authority in Brodnica offers a basic salary ranging from PLN 4,900 to PLN 7,300 gross, with the possibility of additional allowances resulting from regulations for local government employees.
