About the Author and Her Work:

Ewa Lange, a German philologist by education and a controlling manager by profession, is passionate about foreign languages and art. Her daily life combines being a mother, working, and personal development, believing in the power of consistency and balance in everyday details. The author debuted with the moving novel "Czarne orchidee" (Black Orchids), which saved an important family history from oblivion. This book tackles difficult but essential topics: intergenerational traumas, post-war prejudices and memories, and complex parental relationships, illustrating the destructive power of prejudice.

"Black Orchids" offers answers to fundamental questions about love, parenthood, dignity, patriotism, and sacrifice.

"Białe Magnolie" (White Magnolias) – A Continuation That Connects Generations

Ewa Lange's latest novel, "Białe magnolie," which premiered on March 11, is a highly anticipated continuation of "Czarne orchidee." This book intertwines the fates of two young women, Ola Sobota and Aleksandra Kwiatkowska, on the cusp of adulthood. The plot masterfully combines contemporary times with events from 1943, uncovering hidden family secrets and truths that often complicate relationships between loved ones.
