On Monday, March 2, 2026, this year's military qualification began in Brodnica County. The Starosta (County Head) is responsible for its smooth conduct, with the District Medical Commission in Brodnica playing a crucial role.

Schedule and Location of Operations

The District Medical Commission in Brodnica, as in previous years, conducts its work at the Centrum Kształcenia Zawodowego i Ustawicznego (Vocational and Continuing Education Center) at ul. Karbowska 29. Commission meetings take place daily from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The qualification will last until the end of March, with its completion in Brodnica County anticipated in the third decade of the month.

Important Visit

On the first day of qualification, March 2, the commission was visited by Deputy Starosta Piotr Burkwicz. The Vice-Chairman of the Brodnica County Board monitored the proceedings, emphasizing the importance of this patriotic duty. He was accompanied by the head of the Military Recruitment Center in Brodnica, Lt. Col. Andrzej Makowski, the spokesperson for the Brodnica WCR, 2nd Lt. Justyna Komoszyńska, and the head of the Department of Security and Crisis Management of the Brodnica County Office, Maj. (res.) Dariusz Piotrowski.

Who is Obligated to Report?

For the 2026 military qualification, the following individuals are obligatorily required to report:

  • Men born in 2007.
  • Men born between 2002-2006 who have not yet had their military service fitness category determined.

The obligation to appear before the commission lasts until the end of the calendar year in which the person subject to this obligation turns 60 years old.

Volunteers Welcome

The article also reminds that volunteers – both men and women – who are at least 18 years old can apply for military qualification. This obligation applies to them until the end of the calendar year in which they turn 60, regardless of their education and qualifications.
