Successes of Farmers from Brodnica District and Starosta Arkadiusz Orłowski at the "Farmer of Pomerania and Kuyavia 2026" Gala

On February 28, 2026, the prestigious "Farmer of Pomerania and Kuyavia 2026" competition gala took place at the CWZS Zawisza Conference Center in Bydgoszcz. The event gathered leading representatives of the region's agriculture, including significant personalities from the Brodnica district, who were honored for their outstanding achievements.

Starosta Arkadiusz Orłowski as Honorary Ambassador

The Brodnica district Starosta, Arkadiusz Orłowski, actively participated in the gala and received the honorable title of Honorary Ambassador of the "Farmer of Pomerania and Kuyavia 2026" competition. The Competition Chapter and the Council of Honorary "Farmers of Pomerania and Kuyavia" awarded this distinction in recognition of the Starosta's continuous efforts for agriculture, rural development, and the promotion of the competition's ideas.

Awarded Farmers from Brodnica District

During the gala, the best farmers from the region were honored, appreciating their accomplishments and innovation in farm management. Special distinctions were presented to farmers from the Brodnica district, who were nominated for the award by the Brodnica Starosta himself:

• Jan and Małgorzata Celińscy from Radoszki: They were awarded in the category "Nominated for the title of Farmer of Kuyavia and Pomerania".
• Krzysztof and Barbara Szczawińscy from Brzozie: They received an award in the same category "Nominated for the title of Farmer of Kuyavia and Pomerania", as well as an additional, prestigious distinction in the category "Meritorious for Agriculture in animal production".

After the official award ceremony, congratulations were extended to the awarded farmers and the Starosta by distinguished guests, including Brodnica district Starosta Arkadiusz Orłowski, former Minister of Agriculture Jan Krzysztof Ardanowski, and representative of the Brodnica delegation Kamil Suchocki.
