Pomorskie Przedsiębiorstwo Mechaniczno-Torowe Sp. z o.o. in Gdańsk informs about planned renovation works that will affect road traffic in Brodnica. Residents are kindly asked to familiarize themselves with the following announcement to avoid travel inconveniences.

When and Where Will the Works Take Place?

The railway crossing renovation is scheduled for March 12–13, 2026 (Thursday and Friday). During these days, the crossing will be closed from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM.

The works will be carried out on railway line No. 33 Kutno – Brodnica, at kilometer 137+007, which is located along district road No. 1827C – specifically on 18 Stycznia Street in Brodnica.

Scope of Renovation Works

As part of the planned activities, the contractor will perform the following works:

  • Installation of a new asphalt surface on the crossing.
  • Renewal of horizontal road markings to improve traffic safety.
  • Installation or modernization of drainage in the vicinity of the crossing.

Important Disruptions and Detour Information

The closure of the crossing will cause significant disruptions to road traffic. Information regarding a possible detour will be posted in a comment under the original announcement. Drivers are requested to exercise extreme caution in the area where works are being carried out and to follow temporary signage. The contractor apologizes for any inconvenience.

The Brodnica City Council informs that it is neither the investor nor the entity responsible for the execution of the aforementioned renovation works.
