Heroic Intervention in Brodnica: Police Officers Save Woman's Life

On a Friday afternoon (February 27), an alarming report reached the Brodnica County Police Headquarters. It concerned a woman lying on the sidewalk near Lidzbarska Street, who was reportedly not breathing.

Patrol and intervention unit officers, Staff Sergeant Mateusz Prass and Senior Sergeant Radosław Drzymalski, were immediately dispatched to the scene. The officers quickly reached the 79-year-old woman, who was lying on her back. After a swift check of vital signs, it was determined that she had suffered cardiac arrest.

Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Restores Life

Maintaining full professionalism and composure, the Brodnica officers began cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). Their decisive and effective actions yielded immediate results – during the CPR, the injured woman's vital signs were successfully restored.

Transferred to Medical Care

A Medical Rescue Team soon arrived at the scene and took over further actions. After providing specialized assistance, the woman was transported to the hospital.
