The Carnival of 2026 is drawing to a close, and with it return the memories of magical proms that took place in schools managed by Brodnica County. It was elegant, touching, and joyful – everything that makes this ball remain in memory long before the final maturity exam.

I Liceum Ogólnokształcące (High School No. 1) in Brodnica

Graduating students from I LO im. Filomatów Ziemi Michałowskiej in Brodnica celebrated their ball on January 23, 2026. The event took place at Crystal Hall near Rypin. On this special day, students were accompanied by parents, homeroom teachers, teachers, and representatives of the local government, including Brodnica Starosta Arkadiusz Orłowski and Deputy Starosta Piotr Burkwicz, who wished them a wonderful celebration and success in their Matura exams.

Director Marzena Łupińska, referring to the students' first days at school, emphasized their maturity and readiness for new challenges, while encouraging them to celebrate every second of this unique night. The ceremony was graced by a dignified Polonaise, performed with full concentration, elegance, and pride, captivating all guests. There were also toasts raised by parents and words of thanks for the director, teachers, and homeroom teachers for their hard work and support.

Centrum Kształcenia Zawodowego i Ustawicznego (Center for Vocational and Continuing Education) in Brodnica

Students from CKZiU in Brodnica had the opportunity to enjoy two balls, which took place on January 23 and 24, 2026, at "U Bosmana" Restaurant in Brodnica. Similar to other schools, the evening began with a traditional Polonaise, met with thunderous applause. After the official part, the youth took over the dance floor, proving they could have as much fun as they work on their vocational qualifications. Starosta Arkadiusz Orłowski and Deputy Starosta Piotr Burkwicz also attended the ball on January 24, extending wishes for success in the Matura exams.

Zespół Szkół (School Complex) in Jabłonowo Pomorskie

Graduating students from the Technical High School and General High School of the School Complex in Jabłonowo Pomorskie celebrated on January 30, 2026, at the local "Familia" Conference and Banquet Center. The evening opened with a stately Old Polish Polonaise, led by Director Barbara Bober together with the students, for which the dancers received enthusiastic applause. The dance routine was prepared with great dedication under the guidance of teachers: Zbigniew Czachor and Mateusz Dąbrowski.

Among the invited guests were Brodnica Starosta Arkadiusz Orłowski, Head of the Education, Culture and Sport Department of the District Office Dorota Bibik, and Mayor of the City and Municipality of Jabłonowo Pomorskie Marzanna Fettke. Starosta Orłowski wished the graduates not only success in their exams but also the fulfillment of their dreams regarding studies, work, or starting their own business. The culminating point was a solemn toast raised by Director Bober and Starosta Orłowski for the future success and dreams of the graduates. After this symbolic moment, the dance floor filled with dancing youth who celebrated joyfully until late hours.

This year's proms were a true triumph of elegance and joy. Although the carnival rhythms are slowly fading, the memories from these balls will undoubtedly give the graduates energy for the final stretch before their Matura exams. One hundred days of intensive work lie ahead, but the memories from the dance floor will remain for a long time.
