Application for excise duty refund for agricultural fuel starts!

From February 2nd to March 2nd, 2026, farmers can submit applications for a refund of excise duty included in the price of diesel fuel used for agricultural production.

This year, the refund rate is PLN 1.48 per liter of purchased diesel fuel.

Where to submit the application?

Applications should be submitted to the Brodnica Commune Office, 13 Mazurska Street, room 209, if the agricultural land and animal holding are located in the Brodnica Commune.

Required documents

The application must include:

• VAT invoices (or copies thereof) confirming the purchase of diesel fuel used for agricultural production in the period from August 1, 2025 to January 31, 2026.
• In the case of a tax refund for the breeding of cattle, sheep, goats, horses or pigs - a document from ARiMR with information on the average annual number of pigs and on the number of large conversion units (LCU) held in 2025. The document can be issued by the ARiMR district office or generated from a computer database.

Please do not postpone submitting applications until the last minute!
