With Deep Sorrow: Kordian Wójciak Passed Away

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kordian Wójciak, a valued councilor of the Brodnica City Council in the years 1990-1998 and 2002-2006.

Activity and Merits

Mr. Kordian Wójciak served as the vice-chairman of the City Council in the periods 1994-1998 and 2002-2006. He was also the Chairman of the Foundation for the Construction of an Indoor Swimming Pool in Brodnica until 1999.

In addition, he was the founder and president of the Brodnica Cultural Association in the years 2004-2012, as well as an active member of the Senior Circle named after hm. Jerzy Lendzion in Brodnica.

Recognition and Awards

His dedication and commitment to social and professional life were honored with the Knight's Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta for merits for the Brodnica local government and the Mayor of Brodnica medal.

Funeral Services

Kordian Wójciak passed away on January 20, 2026, at the age of 88. The funeral services will take place on January 23, 2026 at the Franciscan Monastery of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Brodnica.
