Safe WOŚP Finale: Police Advice

Safety during the 34th Grand Orchestra of Christmas Charity Finale

On January 25th, police across the country will be involved in ensuring safety during the 34th Grand Orchestra of Christmas Charity Finale. This year, WOŚP is raising funds for the diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal diseases in the youngest patients.

Safety rules - remember!

Safety during the Finale depends on participants following the rules. The police appeal for caution and vigilance.

What to look out for?

  • Volunteer IDs: Check the volunteer's ID (name, number, photo, staff details, hologram, WOŚP stamp, QR code). Make sure the person's appearance matches the photo.
  • Markings: The ID must have the WOŚP heart logo.
  • Collection Box: Make sure the collection box is sealed and stickered with the WOŚP Foundation bands. The number on the collection box must match the number on the ID.
  • Collection: Volunteers collect on the streets, not going door-to-door. Some have payment terminals and white shirts.
  • Fraud: Report any suspicions of fraud related to WOŚP to the Police or Municipal Police.

Caution on the Internet

Watch out for internet scammers! Double-check website addresses and only use official WOŚP channels. Do not click on suspicious links in text messages and emails.

Volunteer Safety

Volunteers should collect in safe, well-lit, and busy places, preferably in a group. If necessary, seek help from the Police or Municipal Police.

Remember: With heart and safely!
