Heating Allowance - Announcement for Residents!

We kindly inform the residents of Brodnica Municipality that there is no heating system supplying heat to households in its area.

Therefore, in accordance with the Act of December 18, 2025 (Journal of Laws of 2026, item 32) amending acts to improve the mechanisms for supporting electricity and heat consumers, residents of the municipality cannot apply for a heating allowance. Applications for determining the right to this benefit cannot be considered.

We remind you that the heating allowance, in accordance with the Act of September 12, 2025 (Journal of Laws, item 1302), is due to people using heat supplied by the heating system.

What is a heating system? It is a heating network and devices used for the production or reception of heat, operated by an energy company.

Do you use district heating? If the building is connected to the municipal heating network, has no individual heat source, and you pay heating bills to the heating company, then yes!
