Football Tournament Celebrating Brodnica's Independence

On January 19, 2026, the Queen Anna Wazówna Elementary School in Gorczenica hosted an exciting Football Tournament celebrating Brodnica's Independence. As many as 50 students representing SP Szabda, SP Gortatowo and SP Gorczenica took part in the sporting competition.

Each school participating in the tournament was honored with diplomas and two balls as a reward for sportsmanship.

Girls Category:

1. 1st place: SP Gortatowo
2. 2nd place: SP Gorczenica
3. 3rd place: SP Szabda

Boys Category:

1. 1st place: SP Gorczenica
2. 2nd place: SP Szabda
3. 3rd place: SP Gortatowo

The students, supported by the loud cheering of their friends, had a great time during the competition. The children actively cheered on their teams, maintaining the spirit of fair play. The organizers provided professional nursing care and refereeing. The founder of the prizes and sweet treats for all participants was the Brodnica Commune.
