Annual summary of the work of Brodnica police officers for 2025

On January 19, 2026, the annual briefing summarizing the work of the police for 2025 took place at the Brodnica Police Headquarters. The Brodnica Police Chief, Inspector Tomasz Skoneczka, presented a report on the activities of the local police, including the number of interventions, detained drunk drivers and perpetrators of crimes. Issues related to improving public safety in the Brodnica district were also discussed.

The briefing was attended by the Deputy Provincial Police Chief in Bydgoszcz, Inspector Jacek Witas, representatives of local authorities, the Brodnica prosecutor's office, and police officers and employees of the unit. Chief Skoneczka thanked for the cooperation and financial support, thanks to which 3 new police cars were obtained, including two marked Skoda vehicles. Inspector Witas highly appreciated the work of Brodnica police officers and indicated directions of work for 2026, aimed at increasing road safety.

The Starost of Brodnica District, the Mayor of Brodnica, and the District Prosecutor in Brodnica thanked the police officers for their service to the residents. At the end, new police cars purchased thanks to co-financing by local governments were presented.
