Police in Brodnica Arrested a Wanted Man and Seized Drugs

Criminal investigators from Brodnica arrested a 23-year-old wanted man who was subject to an arrest warrant. During a search of his apartment in Brodnica, police discovered over a kilogram of drugs.

On Tuesday, January 13, 2026, criminal investigators, acting on obtained information, went to the 23-year-old's apartment. It turned out that the man was wanted to serve a two and a half year prison sentence and that he may possess drugs. The search confirmed these suspicions.

Police secured over a kilogram of marijuana and over 100 grams of amphetamine. The 23-year-old was charged with possession and trafficking of a significant amount of drugs. The District Court in Brodnica decided on temporary detention for a period of three months. He faces up to 12 years in prison. The man will also have to serve the prison sentence for which he was wanted.
