Inaugural Meeting of the District Labor Market Council in Brodnica

New Term of the District Labor Market Council Inaugurated in Brodnica

At the end of 2025, the District Labor Market Council was appointed for the years 2025-2029. The inaugural meeting took place on December 31st of last year at the District Office in Brodnica. Council members received official acts of appointment, thus beginning their social mission.

The Council, acting as an advisory body to the Starosta of Brodnica, deals with key issues related to labor market policy. It consists of representatives of trade unions, employers, farmers, agricultural chambers, and non-governmental organizations operating in the Brodnica district.

The council appointed by order No. 44/2025 of the Starosta of Brodnica dated December 19, 2025, included: Marian Behrendt, Beata Zakrzewska, Małgorzata Pajączkowska, Agnieszka Kamińska-Włodarczyk, Antoni Chiniewicz, Beata Korfanty, Urszula Kucińska, Grażyna Moszczyńska, Piotr Burkwicz, Krzysztof Jasieniecki and Iwona Sugalska. The meeting was attended by Deputy Starosta Piotr Burkwicz and Director of the District Labor Office in Brodnica, Anna Szeptuch.

The Council's tasks include inspiring activities to promote employment, evaluating the management of Labor Fund resources, and providing opinions on the allocation of funds and directions of vocational training.

During the meeting, the activities of the outgoing council were summarized and thanks were given for their previous involvement. The new council also learned about the situation on the local labor market and the activation activities of the District Labor Office in 2025 and positively assessed the Labor Fund expenditure plan.
