Reminder: Obligation to Submit Information on Asbestos-Containing Products

We kindly remind you that, according to the Regulation of the Minister of Economy of December 13, 2010 (Journal of Laws of 2011, No. 8, item 31), owners, managers, and users of real estate are obliged to submit annually "Information on Asbestos-Containing Products." The deadline for submission is January 31 of each year for the previous year, until the use of these products ceases.

Where to submit the information?

• Natural persons (residents) not conducting business activities: to the Mayor of Brodnica Commune.
• Legal entities and entrepreneurs: to the Marshal of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodeship.

The information should be prepared in two copies. One copy should be submitted to the appropriate authority, and the other should be kept for one year.

Assessment of Asbestos Condition

Before completing the "Information on Asbestos-Containing Products," it is necessary to prepare an "Assessment of the Condition and Possibilities of Safe Use of Asbestos-Containing Products." The assessment is prepared in one copy and kept on its own. The degree of urgency of asbestos removal, resulting from the assessment, should be entered in the "Information."

Important Dates

• Deadline for submitting information: January 31 of each year.
• Deadline for safe use of asbestos: until December 31, 2032.
