Brodnica's Budget for 2026 Approved!

During the last session of the Brodnica City Council in 2025, the councilors unanimously approved the budget of the Brodnica Municipality for 2026.

Balanced Budget

The budget for 2026 has been set as balanced, with planned revenues and expenditures at the level of PLN 251,427,000.00.

Key Areas of Expenditure

The largest funds were allocated to:

• Education: PLN 114,737,597.51
• Municipal management and environmental protection: PLN 29,236,880.93
• Family: PLN 20,490,911.67
• Transport and communication: PLN 20,515,487.15

Investments in the City

Capital expenditures, i.e. investments, amount to PLN 50,865,500.08 and include, among others:

• Purchase of ecological electric buses with infrastructure
• Reconstruction of Kamionki Street
• Construction of a sidewalk on Nowa Street
• Reconstruction of Północna Street
• Construction of Polna and Długa Streets
• Construction of a parking lot on Zamkowa Street
• Implementation of projects from the civic budget (Wyspiańskiego Street, Graniczna Street, Brodnica Science Corner, Information Corner at Mieszka I Street)
• Modernization of buildings (Jagiellońska 8 Street, swimming pool at ZS No. 1, School and Kindergarten Complex No. 1)
• Thermal modernization of educational facilities
• Subsidizing the purchase of an ambulance
• Implementation of social services at BCUS (purchase of an elevator)
• Construction of a municipal nursery at Tatrzańska Street
• Modernization of street lighting
• Reconstruction of playgrounds (Królowej Jadwigi Street, Jagiełły Street, Truskawkowa Street)
• Renovation of Chopin Park
• Modernization of the gym and purchase of a scoreboard at OSiR
