A Brief History of Investments in Osiedle Kwiatowe in Karbowo

The last road investment of this year in "Osiedle Kwiatowe" in Karbowo has been completed. The reconstruction, which started in 2024, has just been completed. The works included the following streets: Irysowa, Storczykowa, Chabrowa, Krokusowa, Sasankowa, Makowa, Nagietkową, Hiacyntowa, and four unnamed roads near Olsztyńska Street.

Over 17,500 m² of paving stones were laid. Where possible, storm drainage was also installed. The value of the project exceeded 7 million PLN. Thanks to this, the entire Osiedle Kwiatowe has gained new infrastructure.

Investments in previous years:

• 2019: Reconstruction of Jaśminowa, Narcyzowa and Daliowa Streets (700 m) and construction of storm drainage in the Północna Street area.
• 2021: Reconstruction of Liliowa, Goździkowa, Frezjowa, Fiołkowa, Konwaliowa, Bratkowa and Chryzantemowa Streets (over 1 km) and 2.1 km of storm drainage on Północna Street. In the same year, a sewage network (2095 m) was built.
• 2022: Reconstruction of the Olsztyńska County Road from the city border to Żmijewska Street (municipal support: 868 thousand PLN) and construction of a pedestrian and bicycle path (1.6 km). In addition, Rumiankowa Street (700 m) was built.

Thanks to consistent efforts, residents of Osiedle Kwiatowe (approx. 800 people) can enjoy safe, functional and aesthetically pleasing road and drainage infrastructure.
