Last Friday (November 28, 2025) around noon, the Brodnica police dispatcher received an alarming report of possible self-harm on a property in the Zbiczno commune. A patrol was immediately dispatched to the scene. Upon arrival, the officers found a woman with a neck wound and immediately began administering first aid.

Professionalism and Quick Reaction

The police officers stopped the bleeding, applied dressings, and wrapped the injured woman in blankets to prevent hypothermia. They monitored her condition until the arrival of the Air Ambulance Service. By the decision of the paramedics, the 42-year-old woman was transported to the hospital by helicopter.
