Investment in Security: Modernization of Police Communication in Kujawsko-Pomorskie

On November 20, 2025, Agreement No. UM_WR.431.3.361.2025 was signed regarding the co-financing of the project entitled "Modernization of integrated radio and wired communication equipment for command posts of Police units in the Kujawsko-Pomorskie garrison". The project, numbered FEKP.02.08-IZ.00-0066/25, is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund under the European Funds for Kujawy and Pomorze 2021-2027 program.

Financing Details

The total cost of the project is PLN 2,547,348.00, of which the co-financing covers 85% of eligible expenses, i.e. PLN 2,165,245.80.

Purpose and Scope of the Project

The overall goal of the project is to improve the safety of residents of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodeship. The direct goal is to ensure efficient cooperation with the Voivodeship Emergency Notification Center 112 and other emergency services, by ensuring effective telephone and radio communication.

As part of the project, 92 dispatcher consoles and 42 recorders with software will be purchased and installed.

Benefits

The effects of the project will benefit both the services responsible for security and all residents of the voivodeship. Modern communication will translate into improved quality of work of dispatchers, more effective cooperation with services, and faster and better coordinated assistance.

Locations

The purchased equipment will go to 44 police units in the region, including the Provincial Police Headquarters in Bydgoszcz, municipal and district headquarters in Bydgoszcz, Grudziądz, Toruń, Włocławek, Aleksandrów Kujawski, Brodnica, Chełmno, Golub-Dobrzyń, Inowrocław, Lipno, Mogilno, Nakło nad Notecią, Radziejów, Rypin, Sępólno Krajeńskie, Świecie nad Wisłą, Tuchola, Wąbrzeźno and Żnin, and the Police Riot Unit in Bydgoszcz.

Schedule

The implementation of the project will begin in 2026, and the installation of equipment will be completed by June 30, 2027.
