Success of the Municipal Prevention Program at the Primary School in Szabda!

In November 2025, students and teachers from the Janusz Korczak Primary School in Szabda successfully implemented the goals of the municipal prevention program. The program focused on two priority objectives: "Keep a Sober Mind" and "Responsible Driver."

This program was carried out both during lessons and in the form of educational trips to Łódź and Warsaw, offering students attractive alternatives for spending their free time. 64 students from grades IV-VII and 6 teacher-carers participated in the classes, which were held from November 3 to 28. A total of 24 hours of classes were conducted as part of the project.

The aim of the educational activities was to make students aware of the negative consequences of addictions, with particular emphasis on alcoholism, and to shape attitudes of responsibility for their own and others' health. Students analyzed the consequences of addictions, learned to control their behavior, and make responsible decisions.

Educational trips

As part of the program, two educational trips were organized: on November 5 to Łódź and on November 18 to Warsaw. In addition to educational goals, these trips also had tourist and recreational values. In Warsaw, students visited monuments with a guide and the National Stadium, which was especially pleasing to the boys. They also visited the E. Wedel Chocolate Factory, where they could observe the chocolate production process and taste the products. A younger group of students from grade IV in Łódź visited the Science Center and the Orientarium at the Zoo.

These trips contributed to the development of skills for creative leisure activities, strengthening group bonds and integration.
