National Children's Rights Day Celebrated in Brodnica

On Friday, November 20, 2025, the Special School Complex in Brodnica hosted the 9th Voivodeship Integration Event for Special Schools. This event was organized to celebrate National Children's Rights Day.

This year's edition of the event, dedicated to the right to medical care, brought together students from six special schools in the region and many distinguished guests.

Event Goal

The main goal of the event was to broaden students' knowledge of their rights and to integrate school environments. It was also an opportunity to discuss the importance of taking care of health and ensuring children have access to medical care.

Participants and Guests

Schools from Grudziądz, Toruń, Wielgie, Golub-Dobrzyń and Rypin participated in the event. Guests included Brodnica Staroste Paweł Szramka, Vice-Staroste Arkadiusz Orłowski, Head of Department Dorota Bibik, Director Hanna Królikowska, Parents' Council Chair Anna Dembek and council member Katarzyna Sarnowska.

Event Program

The event was opened by Staroste Paweł Szramka, and its proper course was supervised by Director Anna Słomińska. ZSS students presented a song about children's rights and the performance "A healthy body - a healthy spirit."

Participants from other schools presented songs and skits related to the right to medical care. There were also art workshops, and at the end, a sweet treat awaited.
