Success of the health promotion campaign in Brodnica!

The award ceremony for the winners of the District Educational Model Contest "I live healthy and don't smoke" took place at the Brodnica District Office on November 20, 2025. The event was organized by the Brodnica Sanitary and Epidemiological Station in cooperation with the Brodnica District, as part of a nationwide campaign to encourage people to quit smoking.

Youth with talent and passion!

The contest, aimed at upper secondary school students, aimed to create educational works promoting a life without nicotine. Participants showed great creativity, and their works will be used in educational activities in the district.

Words of appreciation from the Starosta and Sanitary Inspector

The Brodnica Starosta, Paweł Szramka, expressed his admiration for the authors of the works and emphasized their importance for the education of young people. Danuta Kowalkowska-Szramka, the State District Sanitary Inspector, reminded everyone that it is never too late to quit smoking and encouraged them to make this decision today.

Educational activities in the district

The Brodnica Sanitary and Epidemiological Station conducts numerous educational activities aimed at young people, parents and teachers, aimed at anti-nicotine prevention. Workshops, classes and meetings promoting a life free from tobacco smoke are held in the district in November.
